Okay, here we go. This is my first post on my new blog. I am hoping to reach out to the stay at home mom community. I want to be another resource to you. Also, hopefully a resource to working moms as well. I plan to provide recipes, children's activities/crafts, tricks of the trades and some local happenings. What else would you like to see on my blog?
I alittle about me. I grew up in Michigan. I moved to the lowcountry after I graduated from college and got married. I married a wonderful Southern gentleman. We agreed to move near the ocean and ended up here. We enjoyed the dink (dual income no kids) life for 5 years, before we were blessed with our son. He is now 22 months old and keeps us very busy. I agreed to quit my job as a branch manager of a bank to stay at home with our son. My world got turned upside down, but I love every minute of it (well almost). I refer to myself as the over-scheduled stay at home mom. We try to cram as many activities into our day as possible-playgroups, library lapsits, Community Bible Study and Mom's Morning Out-just to name a few. We basically have one day off a week for running errands like grocery shopping and random trips to Target.
